Gatika Herri Trail

Gatika Herri Trail will hold its 2026 edition on Saturday 12 September in Gatika, Bizkaia. The event is organised by Gatikako Bagare Alkartea with the collaboration of Tallu Mendizale Kirol Kluba and proposes marked routes through the area around the municipality, with timekeeping and refreshment stations. The organisers state that the tracks will be available on their website and on Wikiloc. The programme brings together individual trails of 12, 18 and 44 kilometres, as well as a relay format over the long distance. It also includes non-competitive walks of 12 and 18 kilometres. The regulations set approximate positive elevation gains of 200 metres for the 12K, 500 metres for the 18K and 1.900 metres for the 44K; entries include, among other services, a race number, chip, insurance and refreshment stations.
