JUAN MIGUÉLIZ Leyre Trail

The IX JUAN MIGUÉLIZ Leyre Trail will take place on 17 October 2026 at the Monasterio de Leyre, Navarra, with a start at 10:00. Organised by Club Trotecuto, the event pays tribute to Juan Miguéliz and takes place across both sides of the Sierra de Leyre, in a setting that includes references such as the Foz de Arbaiun, the Paso del Oso and the Yesa reservoir. The programme brings together two mountain races for adults: one distance of 21 km with 1,400 m of elevation gain and another of 7 km with 550 m of elevation gain. Both routes run along mountain tracks and technical areas, with course marking and passage controls. The organisers set a maximum of 400 participants and provide four refreshment stations plus the finish.
