La Bufavents

La Bufavents se celebra in Perelló, in the heart of Terra Alta, as a trail running day linked to the Circuit de Curses de Muntanya Terres de l’Ebre. The main event, the Absoluta, offers a demanding route of around 21 km with more than 1.200 m of elevation gain, alternating paths, tracks and technical sections in a very varied mountain setting. The route passes by points such as the Coll de les Vinyetes, the pantano de les Calobres, the Font de Tita and the Roca Blanca, with standout views over the Delta de l’Ebre. The organisers place the start at the municipal pavilion and look after the runner’s experience with refreshment stations, checkpoint control and mandatory equipment to tackle safely an intense and very complete course.
