La Romànica

La Romànica Navàs is a trail running and hiking event that takes in the Romanesque hermitages of Central Catalonia, following the GR-176. Starting in Navàs, between Bages and Berguedà, it proposes an itinerary along paths, tracks and woodland with a strong cultural and mountain character. The main edition is contested over 79 km and 2,500 m of elevation gain, in a self-guided format, with a standout new feature: most of the route is covered in daylight, although the final section may already fall at night. The event offers plenty of refreshment stations and a demanding profile, designed for experienced runners and walkers. The organisers set a minimum age of 14 years, accompanied by an adult. It is an ideal option for those looking for a long route, with a resistance-style atmosphere and the added appeal of discovering Romanesque heritage and the forest landscapes of Central Catalonia.
