Montlude Skyrace

The Montlude Skyrace takes place in Les, in the Val d’Aran, with start and finish at the Plaça deth Haro and the Town Council of Les. The race runs beneath the Montlude, between the valleys of the Torán, Varradós and Garona, in a Pyrenean setting of dense forests, ravines, cold lakes and sections of high mountain. Its character is clearly skyrunning, with demanding terrain, marked elevation gain and technical passages in a wild landscape. The main event covers 32 km and 3000 m of elevation gain, with a route that reaches the Tuc des Neres, the Montlude and areas such as Barracomica, the Lac de Laujò and Canejan. The organisers recommend specific equipment and warn of a mountain race where good physical condition is needed. The event includes category prizes and maintains a strong link with the town and local volunteering, with local atmosphere.
