Primera Marató de Muntanya de Catalunya

The Primera Marató de Muntanya de Catalunya celebrates its 31.ª edition with a route that runs mainly through the Natural Park of Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac, in a setting of crags, Mediterranean forests and technical mountain trails. The event stands out for its environmental commitment, with a course designed to minimise impact on the park and to offer three distances closely linked to the landscape of Sant Llorenç Savall, with climbs to summits and emblematic locations such as the Mola or Sant Sadurní. The organisers provide refreshment stations with liquids and solids, a baggage check, showers, changing rooms, massage and podiatry services at the finish, as well as medicalised ambulances and radios at the checkpoints. Registration also includes a gift and access to the race infrastructure; on the shorter distances, the same philosophy of care for runners is maintained, with control points, chip timing and recommended equipment depending on the weather.
