Pujada a Peu als Àngels

La Pujada a peu als Àngels celebrates in 2026 its 62.ª edition on Sunday 12 April, with a 9:00 h start from the church of Sant Pere de Galligants, in the old town of Girona. It is an event with a popular and competitive spirit that links the city with the Santuari dels Àngels, in the heart of the Gavarres, combining sport, tradition and scenery. The route is 9,1 km and accumulates 485 metres of elevation gain, with a stop at the Font del Bisbe, the Casa de les Figues and the climb of Matahomes, which creates a demanding but accessible profile for those looking for a short mountain challenge. The event offers a competitive format, a popular walk and inclusion, with timing for the race and services such as aid stations, baggage check, return bus and a medal for all participants.
