Sierra Nevada Skyrunning

The I Sierra Nevada Skyrunning took place from 21 to 23 August 2026 in Pradollano, within the municipality of Monachil (Granada). Organised by the Club Sierra Nevada Trail Running and CETURSA Sierra Nevada, it brought together three mountain races with start and finish in Plaza de Andalucía. The event ran through the protected surroundings of the Sierra Nevada National Park and Natural Park, on high-mountain terrain. The competitive programme included the Sierra Nevada Skyrunning of 27 km and 1,500 m+, held on Sunday; the Sprint Trail FADMES, of 11.5 km and 690 m+, and the KV Sierra Nevada Trails, of 4.68 km and 968 m+, both on Saturday. The formats featured overall rankings and were endorsed by the Federación Andaluza de Deportes de Montaña, Escalada y Senderismo.
