Trail de Alumbres

The Trail de Alumbres celebrates its ninth edition on 4 April 2027 in Alumbres, Diputación de Cartagena, and forms part of the Carthago Mountain League. It offers two trail routes, tracks and paths: one of 11.5 km and 436 m of elevation gain through the surroundings of Alumbres and Sierra Gorda, and another of 22.5 km and 536 m of elevation gain that adds the Cabezo Rajao and runs along the ridge of Sierra Gorda. It is organised by Club Deportivo Alumbres Sport with the Ayuntamiento de Cartagena and Repsol. The start and finish are at the Pabellón de Alumbres. There are individual, pairs and team categories. The short route has refreshment stations at km 3 and 7, and the long route at km 7 and 13, plus at the finish; there are no single-use containers, so each runner brings their own container.
