Trail Gallinero

The Trail Gallinero celebrates its second edition on 29 May 2027 in Castejón de Sos, in the Benasque Valley, in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees. Organised by the Asociación Mai se Sabe, the event offers two routes along the valley’s paths and mountain landscapes, designed both for experienced runners and for those starting out in trail running. The Puyada a Rincón del Cielo, at 25 kilometres and 1,595 metres of elevation gain, is the most demanding format: it combines long ascents, technical descents and more runnable sections. The Vuelta a Sos, at 11 kilometres and 480 metres of elevation gain, links a main climb with a gradual descent. To take part, it is mandatory to have a mountain federation licence or to take out the organisation’s day insurance.
