Trail La Vall

The La Vall trail takes place in Bellcaire d’Empordà, in the heart of the Natural Park of Montgrí, Medes i Baix Ter. The event offers a demanding and highly technical route, with a predominance of stony paths, ridge sections and the dry, rocky character typical of the area, as well as small percentages of track and tarmac at the start and on entering the town. The race is designed for those looking for an authentic mountain experience: 22 km and 800 m of elevation gain, with start and finish in the Plaça Comtes d’Empúries. The route combines toughness, open scenery over the Empordà and passages through areas that require you to stay alert at all times. A brief distance, but intense in terrain and local atmosphere.
