Trail Sierra de Albuñuelas

The Trail Sierra de Albuñuelas 'Manuel Anguita Bayo' is a mountain race that closes the December calendar of the Valle de Lecrín (Granada) and includes the Gran Premio Provincial de Granada de Carreras por Montaña. It is organised by the Town Council of Albuñuelas and in 2026 reaches its 14th edition. The long route is around 21 kilometres through the Sierra de Albuñuelas, among chestnut groves, oak woods and the springs that give the town its name, with the Pico Lopera and the Cerro de la Cruz as reference points. The programme is completed by a mini trail of just over 13 kilometres and by a non-competitive walk route that runs along that same short course.
