Trail Somarroza Virgen de Valencia

The Trail Somarroza Virgen de Valencia will hold its first edition on 4 September 2026 in Vioño de Piélagos, with the start and finish at the Santuario de la Virgen de Valencia. The event is organised by Club Deportivo Elemental Montecío F.S. together with the Federación Cántabra de Atletismo, with the collaboration of the Town Council of Piélagos and Somarroza. The route proposes 11 kilometres and 270 metres of accumulated elevation gain. It runs along paths, rural tracks, forest tracks, woods, meadows and urban links, and will be signposted throughout the race. The start is scheduled for 19:00, and entry is reserved for people who have reached 18 years of age.
