Trail Valle de Samuño

The Trail Valle de Samuño celebrates its 10th edition in 2027 in La Nueva (Langreo). The TVS, 22 kilometres and 1,500 metres of elevation gain, runs along the ridgelines between Langreo and Mieres through the Paisaje Protegido de las Cuencas Mineras and reaches the summit of Cogollu; the TVxS, 13 kilometres and 740 metres, climbs to Picu Rondiz. Both go almost always along tracks and forest paths and finish by crossing a 1-kilometre stretch of mining gallery at Socavón Emilia. The TVxS is held on Saturday 17 April in the afternoon and the TVS on Sunday 18 April in the morning, with the finish by the Ecomuseo Minero Valle de Samuño. Non-federated entry costs 23 euros for the TVxS and 33 for the TVS and includes day insurance, a chip, a runner’s bag and a finisher gift. There are 3 and 4 refreshment stations, with no disposable cups.
