Ultra de los Castillos

Ultra de los Castillos is a trail running event organised by VueltasalaCabeza that will celebrate its second edition in La Parra (Badajoz) on 30 and 31 October 2026. The regulations define a circular route with start and finish in the town, marked out and with checkpoints, medical support and volunteering. The itinerary includes liquid and solid refreshment stations; the 56 km point, in Salvaleón, has a full refreshment station and assistance. The adult programme brings together a 100 km ultra and relays on Friday, as well as a 42 km marathon and a 15 km race on Saturday. The ultra’s night start requires a headtorch; the organisers may also require a phone, water, thermal blanket and whistle depending on the weather. Entries are personal and non-transferable and are open until 5 October 2026.
