Vulcan Race

La Vulcan Race is a mountain race organised by the Town Council of the Villa and Puerto de Garachico, with technical direction by Gesport Canarias. Its 2026 edition will take place on 15 November in Garachico, on Tenerife, with the start and finish located in the Town Council square. The route runs entirely through the mid-elevations and the forested ridge of the municipality. The programme brings together 2 adult trail running formats: 21 km and 10 km. The long distance totals 1,362 metres of elevation gain and has a maximum time of 4 hours; the 10 km event accumulates 736 metres positive. Both starts are scheduled for the morning of Sunday, with electronic timing and refreshment stations distributed along the routes.
