Aramotz Mendi Lasterketa

The 13th Aramotz Mendi Lasterketa will take place on 17 October 2026 in Amorebieta-Etxano, with start and finish at Parque Zubiondo. Zornotza Mendi Taldea organises this mountain event, included in the Durangaldeko Kopa calendar. The programme brings together the 22 km Trail with 1,300 m of elevation gain, the Short Trail of 12 km and 650 m+, and a 15 km Walk with 800 m+. The routes go into the Aramotz mountain range, within the Natural Park of Urkiola. The course runs through a mountain setting and passes over summits such as Burbilla, Pagozelai, Gantzorrotz, Urtemondo and Belatxiketa. The proposal combines two competitive trail formats with a non-competitive hiking alternative, concentrating the day in the natural surroundings close to the town, with local atmosphere.
