Caras Nortes Skyrace

Caras Nortes Skyrace will celebrate its sixth edition on 28 November 2026 in Güéjar Sierra, Granada. The mountain race, run by the Town Council of Güéjar Sierra with the collaboration of the Asociación Caras Nortes, has its start and finish in the Town Council square. The programme brings together four competitive categories for adults, with routes entirely developed within the municipal term. The event proposes routes along the north-facing side of Sierra Nevada, combining Mediterranean woodland, riverbanks, paths, tunnels and bridges. Paso Viajeros Románticos has an individual version and a team version with three members; it is completed by Cuna de los Cuartos and Verea de la Estrella. The organisers have published positive elevation gains of 2,300 m for the two long-distance formats, 1,300 m for the middle distance and 720 m for the short distance.
