Carrera de Montaña Arroletza Mendi Taldea

The Carrera de Montaña Arroletza Mendi Taldea will celebrate its third edition on 6 September 2026 in Barakaldo. Plaza de Burtzeña will host both the start and the finish of a circular route that climbs towards Monte Arroletza and follows the ridge in the direction of Sasiburu before returning to the neighbourhood. The course combines the urban setting of Burtzeña with mountain paths in the Basatxu area. The programme includes a competitive Carrera de Montaña and a non-competitive Walk Regulada, both on the same route and with a medium level of difficulty according to the technical documentation. The organiser is Arroletza Mendi Taldea and entries are processed via RockTheSport until 5 September 2026. The published fee is 15 euros for the race and 5 euros for the walk.
