Carrera por Montaña Las Dehesas

The XXXIX Carrera por Montaña Las Dehesas will take place on 27 September 2026 in Cercedilla, with start and finish at the Polideportivo Municipal. It is organised by Club Tierra Trágame with the collaboration of the Town Council of Cercedilla. Its Cross Las Dehesas event, for adult participants from 21 years old, forms part of the Copa de Madrid de Carreras por Montaña en Línea of the FMM and of the Copa Hierro of the R.S.E.A. Peñalara. The Cross offers 29 km and 1,900 m of elevation gain, from an altitude of 1,196 m to a maximum altitude of 2,150 m. The route passes, among other points, through the Pradera de Navarrulaque, the Fuenfría pass, the Marichiva col and Peña del Águila. The organisers plan a start at 08:45 and a maximum time of 5 hours 30 minutes; the courses run in part through the Natural Park of the Sierra de Guadarrama.
