Carrera Vertical El Risco

The Vertical Race El Risco will take place on 12 September 2026 in Buenavista del Norte, on the island of Tenerife. The Town Council of Buenavista del Norte organises this mountain running event in a time trial format, with individual starts spaced between 30 seconds and 1 minute. The scheduled distance is 3 kilometres after truncating the 3.7 km published by the organiser. General entry costs 15 euros and remains open until 7 September 2026 or until all 119 places available are filled. The regulations state that the event has a liquid refreshment station at Tagoror, located at kilometre 1.5, and set a maximum time of 2 hours to complete the course. Participants must follow the waymarked route and carry a mobile phone and their race number.
