CORREKAMINS

CORREKAMINS is a mountain race held in Ainet de Cardós, in the Cardós valley, within Pallars Sobirà and the Natural Park of the High Pyrenees. The event combines a popular atmosphere with timing, with two routes of 8 and 16 kilometres designed to enjoy the Pyrenean setting without losing the competitive element. The course runs between rivers, forests and paths in the valley, with a more approachable profile on the short distance and a somewhat more demanding challenge on the long one. The 8 km race is an accessible option, even in walk format, ideal for those getting started or who want to run with children. The 16 km race is more demanding due to distance and elevation gain, but it is not particularly technical. The start takes place from the town square, and the day includes prizes, a draw for equipment and popular food, in an event limited to 300 participants.
