Cursa de l'Alba

The 38th Cursa de l'Alba, Memorial Martí Gil, takes place in Collbató and enters the Natural Park of Montserrat, circling the massif via footpaths, road sections, stairways and technical mountain sections. The long course culminates at the summit of Sant Jeroni, the highest point of the massif, with a demanding elevation gain and very recognisable rocky landscapes that make the event a classic of Catalan trail running. The organisers offer 2 distances, with start and finish in Collbató, and a runner’s guide, water aid stations, isotonic drinks, fruit and nuts, as well as race number collection in El Cassinet. There is also live coverage and a programme with times for race number collection, starts and prizes. The MitjAlba shares the local atmosphere of the weekend and allows runners from the general public to enjoy a more accessible format.
