Kangas Mountain

The XIII Kangas Mountain takes place on 6 March 2027 in Cangas de Onís, at the gates of the Picos de Europa, and opens the Asturian mountain running season. Its four routes start and finish in the town and run through the mountains of Cangas de Onís, Parres and Amieva along forest tracks, open moorland and firebreaks, with passage by Picu'l Arbolín, Colláu L'Andrin and the high point of Següencu, and they cross the Sella via the Puente Romano. The event offers a Speed Trail of 13 km and 600 m+ , a Half Trail of 21 km and 1.400 m+ , the Original Trail of 33 km and 2.000 m+ and the Maxi Trail of 60 km and 4.000 m+ , with staggered starts from 6:30 h. All distances include timing, a tracking app, refreshment stations, baggage storage and showers, and the Speed is open to runners from 14 years old.
