La Ferradura de Vall-Llobrega

La Ferradura de Vall-Llobrega is a trail running event held in Vall-Llobrega, in the Baix Empordà region, with start and finish at the Espai Polivalent. The route winds into the tracks and paths of the Gavarres, a Mediterranean mountain setting with demanding climbs, fast descents and varied terrain for runners of different levels. The organisers offer three distances, 6K, 15K and 21K, and the race is run with official timing, while the 6 km walk is held without classification. In addition, the event includes chip control, prize-giving, trophies by category, hot refreshment stations at the finish and a gift for all participants, in a day designed for both those looking to compete and those who prefer a more accessible experience.
