Osán Cross Mountain

La Osán Cross Mountain celebrates its 18th edition on 4 April 2027 with start and finish in Osán, a hamlet of Sabiñánigo (Huesca). Its route of 20 kilometres and 1,000 metres of elevation gain runs through Yebra de Basa and tackles the Ruta de las Ermitas, a climb marked by seven hermitages, some embedded in the rock, up to the sanctuary of Santa Orosia. During the ascent, runners pass beneath a waterfall and, after cresting, face a steep, technical descent at the start that crosses the hamlet of Isún before returning to Osán. The organisers limit participation to 400 bibs. In April conditions can vary a great deal and, in the upper section, snow may be found.
