Peña de los Buitres CXM Trail

La V Peña de los Buitres CXM Trail will take place on 27 September 2026 in Pegalajar, within the XII Circuito Provincial de Carreras por Montaña de Jaén. The event is organised by the Town Council of Pegalajar together with Club Atletismo Pegalajar and runs through the surroundings of the Serrezuela and the Peña de los Buitres, starting at La Charca. The programme includes a CXM Trail race of 20.5 km and 1,060 m of elevation gain, as well as the Open format of 11 km and 600 m of elevation gain. A non-competitive hiking route of 11 km is also offered, matching the Open course and aimed at the viewpoint of the Peña de los Buitres.
