La Peñatendoira Trail will celebrate its fourth edition on 12 September 2026 in Matarrosa del Sil, a locality in the municipality of Toreno. The event is organised by the Town Council of Toreno, the Matarrosa del Sil Festivities Committee and Deportes ISA, with timing by Carreras con Encanto. The start will be located next to the picnic areas at the Sports Centre, with different start times for each discipline. The programme includes a Long race of 25 km and 1,300 m of elevation gain, a Speed of 10 km and 450 m of elevation gain, and a 10 km walk with the same announced elevation gain. The routes run through the surroundings of Santa Leocadia, San Pedro Mallo, Pardamaza, Librán and Matarrosa del Sil, within the municipal term of Toreno.
