Transvaldeónica

Transvaldeónica will celebrate its XII edition on 29 August 2026 in Posada de Valdeón, León. The mountain race, organised by the Town Council of Posada de Valdeón, will start and finish in the town. Its route runs through the Valdeón Valley, in the Natural Park of the Picos de Europa, along paths, sedos, channels, cols, meadows and beechwoods, on a mountain itinerary of notable technical difficulty. The only published adult category is Transvaldeónica, with 28 km and 4,200 m of elevation gain. The start is set for 10:00, and the organisers limit participation to 350 adult runners. The standard entry fee is 40 €, with registrations from 29 June to 23 August 2026 or until the quota is filled.
