La Travessa del Montseny celebrates its 50th edition on 16 May 2026 as a non-competitive endurance walk and one that is eligible for the Circuit Català de Caminades de Resistència of the FEEC. The event takes place through the Montseny massif, with a start in Aiguafreda and a finish in Gualba, along a mountain route of 47 km and 2,200 m of elevation gain, in an area of great natural value. The route links emblematic summits and passes such as Tagamanent, Collformic, Matagalls, Sant Marçal, Les Agudes and Turó de l’Home, with signposted sections and refreshment stations throughout the day. It is a demanding march, designed for walkers with a good level of physical fitness, combining effort, forest landscapes and respect for the Natural Park of Montseny.
