Valcorchero Xtreme Trail

Valcorchero Xtreme Trail will celebrate its second edition on 8 November 2026 in Plasencia. The mountain race runs through the protected natural area of Valcorchero and is organised with the support of the Club Atletas Populares de Plasencia. The start and finish are located at the Ciudad Deportiva of the town. The programme brings together two adult categories: EXTREME, 22 km and 1,020 m of elevation gain, and RACE, 13 km and 486 m of elevation gain. The long distance will be the closing event of the Copa de Extremadura of mountain running and will be linked to the UTMB Index; the short one proposes an introductory route with less technical demand. The organisers communicate an eco-sustainable approach, with no cups or plastic containers at the refreshment stations.
