Zegama-Aizkorri

The 25th edition of Zegama-Aizkorri took place in Zegama (Gipuzkoa) on 15 and 17 May 2026. The adult programme brought together the Kilómetro Vertical and the Mendi Maratoia, while the Junior Trail was excluded for being a youth format. The organisers set a maximum of 250 participants for the KV and 500 for the marathon. The Mendi Maratoia ran along both sides of the Aizkorri mountain range, with passes through the Aratz massif and summits such as Aizkorri and Aketegi. The route combined paths, mountain tracks, beech woods, rocky areas and high pastures, with a technical and demanding character. The Kilómetro Vertical started at Arriaundi and finished at the summit of Iraule.
