Arico Trail

Arico Trail is a mountain race on natural terrain organised by the Club Agama Trail with the collaboration of the Town Council of Arico. The 2026 edition will take place on 7 November in Arico Viejo, Tenerife, with the start and finish located in Plaza de Arico Nuevo. The event is run under a semi-autonomous format and sets out an express commitment to respecting the environment and reducing waste. The competitive programme brings together three routes for adults: Cumbres de Abona, 24 km and 1,400 metres of elevation gain; Las Toscas, 12 km and 750 metres; and Oleo Teide, 7 km and 350 metres. The starts are scheduled in staggered fashion from 08:00. The organisers require a reusable container for hydration and set timing, checkpoint controls and maximum times for the three formats.
