Carreira Vertical O Sacauntos

La Carreira Vertical O Sacauntos will take place on 6 September 2026 in Vilamartín de Valdeorras, organised by the Town Council in collaboration with the Delegation of Valdeorras of the Federación Galega de Atletismo. The event is part of the official trail running calendar and hosts the Campeonato de Galicia de Subida Vertical. The adult Vertical format offers 4.2 km and 1,015 m of elevation gain, with the start at A Ponte Nova da Barca de Arnado and the finish at Alto do Monzón. There will be separate male and female starts for safety; the route will be marked out and will have refreshment stations at the finish. Registration has a single price of 15 €, closing on 2 September 2026 at 23:59.
