Churrigueresca

La Churrigueresca celebrates its 7th edition on 29 August 2026 in Nuevo Baztán, in the evening. The start is scheduled for 20:30 from Parque Palacio de Goyeneche. The Town Council of Nuevo Baztán organises this event, which is included as the opening race of the Tierras del Tajuña Trail Series. The competitive race runs along roads, paths and areas of woodland in the surroundings of Nuevo Baztán, also incorporating the monumental landscape of its historic ensemble. The course promotes trail running and popular hiking in the Vegas del Tajuña and the Alcarria Madrileña. The organisers recommend the use of a headtorch, although they do not make it compulsory.
