Trail de la Picota

Trail de la Picota is a mountain event that will hold its first edition on 12 September 2026 in Pezuela de las Torres. It is organised by the Town Council of Pezuela de las Torres and is included in the Tierras del Tajuña Trail Series, a circuit that brings together mountain races from municipalities in the south-east of Madrid. The start is located in Plaza del Pueblo, from where an itinerary begins through the local natural surroundings. The competitive trail format offers 10 kilometres and 261 metres of elevation gain, with a route along characteristic roads and paths of the municipality. The circuit regulations place the event among accessible options for popular runners and include official timing, a marked course, refreshment stations, medical assistance and public liability insurance. Participation is arranged through separate registration for this race.
