La Cabanera

La Cabanera is a mountain race held in the Vall Fosca, with start and finish at the Torre de Capdella. In its 7th edition, it offers a route through restored old paths, among alpine meadows, forests, technical trails and wide views of the high mountains. The course passes through historic villages such as Mont-ros, Molinos, Astell and Aguiró, in an area closely linked to the Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. The event offers three distances: 12.3 km, 23.48 km and a skyrace of 28.85 km, with demanding profiles and elevation gain ranging from 570 m to 2,022 m. The race combines varied terrain, hard ascents and technical downhill sections, so it suits both regular runners and those looking for a more accessible mountain experience or a more alpine one, depending on the chosen format.
