Cursa de la Campana

The Cursa de la Campana takes place in Vacarisses as a mountain race with a route along tracks and paths, starting in the Plaça Joan Bayà and finishing at the La Fàbrica building. The main event runs through the surroundings of the municipality and enters the Natural Park of Sant Llorenç de Munt i l’Obac, on a course of 14,5 km and 542 metres of elevation gain. The profile combines running along tracks, corriols and a short stretch of tarmac when leaving and re-entering the town. The route does not present a high technical difficulty, except for a specific and brief point. The race has refreshment stations on route and at the finish, is open to different categories and forms part of a wider programme of activities around the Campana in Vacarisses.
