La Frontal

La Frontal, in its 2026 edition, restores the pulse of trail running in Puig-reig with a close, popular format that combines a race and a walk. The route runs along tracks and paths in the municipality’s surroundings, with terrain typical of mid-mountain, fast sections and others that are more technical, giving it character. The event keeps the stamp of the CquiE trail section and preserves the essence of an event created to enjoy the scenery and the local atmosphere. The organisation includes insurance, a sandwich, a drink, a gift and access to the swimming pool at the end, as well as a large paella or social meal depending on the chosen format. La Petita Frontal is also held for boys and girls in the minis, S8, S10, S12 and S14 categories. The walk shares part of the experience with the main event and turns the day into a very family-friendly occasion, with options for runners, walkers and families.
