Festival Cavalls del Vent

Festival Cavalls del Vent is a non-competitive walk that covers the entire Cavalls del Vent traverse in less than 24 hours. The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday 20 June, starting from the Rebost refuge, in an anti-clockwise direction, on a demanding high-mountain route of 84.2 km and 5,600 m elevation gain. The night start means you must use a headtorch and follow the route carefully, as the course is marked only with the fixed signs of the path. The event offers two formats: OPEN, with the full loop and an individual option or teams of 2 or 3 people for relays, and HALF, with 42 km in a single stretch. Both share the refuge-to-refuge traverse atmosphere, with refreshment stations, a tracking chip, a passport to be stamped, and a finish with hot food. Passing through stations such as Serrat de les Esposes and Gresolet reinforces the mountaineering character of an event designed to enjoy the surroundings at your own pace.
