Kilómetro Vertical de Las Hurdes - Tío Picho

The 12th Kilómetro Vertical de Las Hurdes - Tío Picho will take place on 25 October 2026 in Ladrillar, Cáceres. The event will be the Spanish Championship of Kilómetro Vertical by Clubs and the final of the Copa de España de Kilómetro Vertical. The neutralised start will be from Ladrillar’s main square, and the competitive section climbs from the natural pool up to Cerro Mingorro, in the Sierra de la Grajera. The programme brings together the Kilómetro Vertical of 3.5 km and 1,015 m elevation gain, the Medio Kilómetro Vertical of 1.5 km and 400 m elevation gain, and a circular hiking route of 7 km and 400 m elevation gain. Entries for non-federated runners cost €25 until 15 October and €30 until 19 October in the main event; the other two proposals cost €5 and €10, respectively, depending on the deadline.
