Quebrapates

Quebrapates is a mountain race organised by the Club Deportivo Básico Horizontrail Langreo in the municipality of Laviana. The 2026 edition will be held on 17 October and will have its start and finish in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Pola de Laviana. The event will be the final of the Copa de Asturias of FEMPA in the absolute category and in the lower categories. The adult programme brings together two competitive routes: a 33 km race and 2,500 m of elevation gain, which runs through Campa Felguera, Pico Dubil, Collada Pelúgano, Tolivia, Les Bories and Pico la Vara; and another of 13 km with 900 m of elevation gain, which climbs from Canzana towards Pico la Vara. Both are contested under self-sufficiency rules and have marked aid stations.
