Trail La Cangrexa

Trail La Cangrexa will celebrate its first edition on 17 October 2026 in Barcia-Leiján, in the municipality of Valdés. The start will be located at the Campo de la Iglesia and the finish at the football ground of Barcia CF. The route runs along tracks, paths and woodland in the rural surroundings of western Asturias, with two refreshment stations for the running format. The adult programme includes the Speed Trail de la Cangrexa, 14 km and 650 m of elevation gain, and the Walk, a non-competitive walk, of 10 km and 250 m of elevation gain; both itineraries share part of the route. The starts are scheduled for 10:30 and 10:00, respectively. The published entry fee is €15 for the trail and €10 for the walk, with registration closing on 12 October at 23:59 or when the places are filled.
