Santiago-Pontones Trail Weekend

Santiago-Pontones Trail Weekend will hold its 9th edition on 19 and 20 September 2026 in the municipality of Santiago-Pontones, Jaén. The Santiago-Pontones Town Council organises this mountain running event, endorsed by the Federación Andaluza de Deportes de Montaña, Escalada y Senderismo and linked to the XII Circuito Provincial de Carreras por Montaña. The programme brings together four competitive formats through the Sierra de Segura: Ultra Trail Sierra de Segura, Long Trail Sierra de Segura, Trail Sierra de Segura and Mini Trail Sierra de Segura. The two longest races take place on Saturday, while Trail and Mini Trail are held on Sunday. The routes pass through a protected mountain setting, with start or finish in Santiago de la Espada and, in two formats, a start from Pontones.
