Trail Desafío del Carbón

The 4th edition of the Trail Desafío del Carbón takes place on 14 February 2027 in Urbiés, in the Asturian council of Mieres, organised by Club Deportivo Cuenta Atrás. The routes start from the village hostel and run along paths used by hikers and livestock herders and along tracks, over technical mid-mountain terrain that reaches an altitude of 1,050 metres. There are two races for people aged over 18: the 22-kilometre Trail with 1,350 metres of elevation gain, for 26 euros, and the Speed Trail of 13 kilometres and 850 metres, for 20 euros. Both feature three refreshment stations where each runner must bring their own cup, are governed by the FEMPA regulations, and require a waterproof jacket, a thermal blanket, a mobile phone and water.
