Trail Desfiladero del Ruecas

The first edition of the Trail Desfiladero del Ruecas will take place on 18 October 2026 in Cañamero, Cáceres. The event proposes a day in the mountains in the setting of the Geopark Villuercas-Ibores-Jara, with routes that combine sport and discovery of the rural landscape of Extremadura. The programme includes a Trail of 21 km and 1,050 m of elevation gain, a Promo format of 12 km and 600 m of elevation gain, and a walking route of 5 km with 200 m of elevation gain. The two competitive events are intended for participants aged 18 and over; the organisers also set an additional charge for those who do not have a federative licence.
