Volta a Peramola

La Volta a Peramola is a trail and mountain event in Peramola, in the heart of the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees, with a start and local atmosphere of a town in Josep Roca Square. The race takes place on paths and, above all, on corriols, in a setting of conglomerate rock, forests and landscapes strongly shaped by the local terrain. Its character is authentic and supportive, with an organisation designed to accommodate different types of runner and walker. This edition offers several formats, but the main race combines challenge and beauty on an intense route, with technical sections, tough climbs and fast descents. Participants have refreshment stations, a runner’s bag, showers, a baggage drop and parking areas. It is also part of the Circuit Fer, reinforcing its profile as a mountain event rooted in the territory and the natural surroundings of Peramola.
