Cayón Trail

The XIII Cayón Trail takes place on Saturday 6 February 2027 at 16:00 in Infiesto, capital of the Piloña council, with start and finish in the Plaza Mayor. Organised by the Piloña.Deporte club and the Town Council of Piloña, it proposes a mountain route of around 11 kilometres that climbs to Monte Cayón through woods and returns to the town. It is a short and demanding course run in the depths of winter. Entry costs 20 euros until 31 December and 25 euros until the close on 22 January, with 400 places. There is refreshment at the halfway point, where only water is served without cups, and another at the finish, as well as changing rooms and showers. There is a checkpoint at the Cayón recreation area at 90 minutes and the finish closes at 150, and it is recommended to bring a headtorch.
