CxM Castillo La Calahorra

La CxM Castillo La Calahorra is a mountain race held in November in La Calahorra, in the Marquesado del Zenete (Granada), on the north face of Sierra Nevada, and it includes the Gran Premio Provincial de Granada de Carreras por Montaña. It is organised by the Town Council of La Calahorra together with the local athletics club, in the shadow of its Renaissance castle. The long course covers 24 kilometres along acequias de careo, reforested pinewoods and the slopes that rise towards the Morrón del Mediodía and the Chullo. The programme is completed with a 15-kilometre mini trail and with a non-competitive hiking walk route of 12 kilometres.
