Embún Monster Trail

Embún Monster Trail will hold its second edition on 1 November 2026 in Embún, Huesca province. The Asociación Cultural Espelungas organises this mountain race, whose start and finish will be located in the Plaza Mayor of the town, with the start scheduled for 11:00. The event will take place in the Western Pyrenees area, with an itinerary that combines the town’s streets, dirt tracks, paths and trails. The adult category offers a route of 11 kilometres and 600 metres of elevation gain. Participation is limited to 200 runners, with two solid and liquid refreshment stations planned along the course. Online entries opened on 1 August and will close on 25 October 2026 at 23:00; no entries will be accepted on the day of the race. The organisers require a personal container for liquid and suitable footwear for mountain terrain.
